			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It’s sad to say that there are a lot of people that at some point or another will have a problem with hair loss, and of course very few people will end up being happy about this. What most people don’t know is that while there are people that are forced to go through this because of their genetics there are people that could end up preventing this problem. Iron deficiency is something that can be the cause of hair loss, and if this can be fixed then the hair loss can sometimes be stopped and even reversed.</p>
<p>While most people know about hair loss and most people know about iron deficiency most people are not aware that they two can be connected. Studies have in fact been done that prove that this is something that can happen with lack of iron. Some people tend to think that if you fix the problem not only will the hair loss stop but sometimes the hair will grow back, there is some debate as to if this is true or not. <span id="more-291"></span><br />

One thing that you need to remember is that just because you might be losing hair doesn’t mean that you have a lack of iron. Before you start treating yourself like you do then you need to make sure that you actually do, because if you don’t and you end up taking more iron than you need you could very well end up with an entire new set of problems. Too much iron can cause problems just as not enough can.</p>
<p>If you want to know that you have an iron deficiency then you need to go and see a doctor and make sure that they know that you think you might have a lack of iron and then if you do you can do what is needed to get it back up to normal. Make sure that you discuss what your options are and make sure that you listen to what your doctor says and ask if your hair loss could reverse itself or stop. While this usually will not be known until after the fact sometimes a doctor can make a best guess, but remember it’s just going to be a guess. This is because while you might have an iron deficiency then you might not also a genetic reason that your hair loss is happening.</p>
<p>Even if you don’t think that you have a problem now it’s not too early to start taking measure to prevent any problem in the future. You can do this by making sure that you eat more iron rich foods on an every day basis.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As an antioxidant, glutathione (GSH) is one of the most important substances in my program. A small tripeptide (composed of three amino acids) found in all our cells, GSH performs as an antioxidant by detoxifying hydrogen peroxide into water molecules before it can be transformed into a dangerous hydroxyl free radical. This decreases the long-term risk of cancer, heart disease, and other degenerative diseases. This antioxidant action of GSH is catalyzed (sped up) by the selenium-containing enzyme, glutathione peroxidase (GPX).</p>
<p>GSH is important in all cells, particularly so in our livers. We are exposed to different toxins every day—for example, the average Ameri­can is exposed to fourteen pounds of food additives each year, many of which are toxic, and when these toxins enter our bodies, our livers activate the cytochrome P-450 enzymes. These enzymes then convert the toxic compounds to less toxic substances that can be excreted out of the body (this process is called the &#8220;phase-I&#8221; liver reaction).<br />

Phase-I liver reactions also create large amounts of free radicals; therefore, in what is known as the phase-II reactions in the liver, GSH and other antioxidants neutralize them. If you have a lot of oxidative stress (due to excess exposure to environmental toxins, or if you are a smoker or drink alcohol excessively), your phase-I liver enzymes are working overtime. And if your phase-I enzymes are working hard, your phase-II reactions had better be up to the task (which means having lots of GSH around), or the result may eventually be liver damage due to excess generation of free radicals.</p>
<p>GSH is probably even working on toxic substances in your diet before they reach your liver. That is because in mammals it seems to be present in the cells that line the intestine, which are the first line of de­fense against toxic compounds being absorbed into the body. More importantly, these cells seem to be able to take up GSH and use it to protect against toxins entering the blood. This was clearly shown in a study in which these special intestinal epithelial cells were isolated from rats and GSH was added to the medium; when GSH was added twenty minutes before a highly toxic, oxidizing compound was introduced, the intestinal cells were protected against the damaging effects of the toxin. If these cells do become damaged, toxic substances in your diet can be absorbed and enter your bloodstream. Some physicians call this the &#8220;leaky-gut syndrome,&#8221; which plays a role in the onset of many chronic illnesses, such as Crohn&#8217;s disease and rheumatoid arthritis.</p>

Well&#8230;one of the easiest way ( and well-known ) to weight loss is by burning your body fat. In one pound of body fat, there are 3,500 calories in it. So, if you want to lose one pound of fat, you&#8217;ll need to find a way to burn those 3,500 calories. It&#8217;s not an easy job if you don&#8217;t know what you&#8217;re doing, but it will give you a better body shape while maintain your healthy condition.</p>
<p>However, you need to know that it isn&#8217;t healthy to force yourself to lose a pound by exercising as much as you can. Many doctors will recommend you to lose two pounds per week maximum. <p>Under the hot summer, our skin is actually under great test ! Let&#8217;s carefully look thru some of the below general knowledge and details :-<span id="more-134"></span></p>
<p><strong>What do us really need to get protection from ?</strong></p>
<p>In actual, we need to beware of the UVA area ! The long wave ultraviolet ray. This is the main culprit that really could damage the lipin and the collagen . UVA may penetrate the corium layer, causes the skin to tan, and accelerates <a title="Fight Aging" href="http://nutridb.com/wellness/aging-slow-it-down-with-antioxidants/">skin aging</a> activities.</p>
<p>UVB area ( the midwave ultraviolet ray ) &#8211; it may penetrate the skin&#8217;s corium layer, causes our skin gets burnt, red spot. But UVB could be shielded by clothes and glass.</p>
<p><strong>Choosing the Right Protection for Various Skin Types<br />

<p><strong>Getting the Right SPF Value</strong></p>
<p>In general, when the  SPF value is higher, it gives higher level in protection. In general, under normal weather condition, SPF8 to 12 would be suitable for normal skin type. For those who needs higher level f sun protection, choose SPF30 sun block lotion ;  For those with skin allergy,  SPF value of 12 to 20 is more suitable.</p>
<p><strong>Selecting the Right Protection with PA value</strong></p>
<p>By now we should know, it is not only getting the right SPF value in sun block protection.  Because SPF can only defend our skin against the U-VB ultraviolet ray, which is only 1% ultraviolet rays.</p>
<p>The real major damages come from U-VA which could harms our elastic fiber rapidly, and causes the aging problem. To <a title="vitamin protection" href="http://nutridb.com/wellness/extra-protection-with-vitamin-e/">protect our skin</a> against  UVA, we should be looking for products with  UVA “PA+”  indication.</p>
<p>For those going for swimming, it is wise to get sun block with not only SPF30+ value, but also with PA+++ indication. This would give you the best protection so far.</p>
